case studies

Below are some examples of recent installations. After a site survey, we provide written Risk Assessments and Method Statements ensuring there is compliance with all health and safety regulations

Free To Be Kids Charity

Free to Be Kids is a London charity that works with children and young people who have had a really tough start in life, including challenges like poverty, family difficulties, neglect or homelessness.

As a small charity with restricted budgets for its own promotion, the very practical support that Just AJD provides by supplying free branded banners and signage is enabling it to promote its services much more effectively, and it has committed to using the banners at all its fundraising events going forward.

Transport for London (TfL)

TFL has been a customer for over five years. It commissioned us to print and install 1,500 speed-limit wind banners across boroughs including Croydon, Westminster, Greenwich, and Kensington & Chelsea, as part of a phased London-wide rollout.

We printed the banners and sourced high-strength steel brackets from India, engineered to meet safety standards and resist winds up to 70mph. TFL tested and certified our construction before rollout. As with all public-space work, we conducted detailed site surveys and provided Risk Assessment and Method Statements.

Crawley Borough Council

Our relationship with Crawley Borough Council began around five years ago with a commission to print and install hoardings around a construction site for a new town hall building which would also incorporate affordable housing units.

With that project successfully wrapped, we went back on site working on new hoardings around the old town hall building which is being demolished to make way for new housing.

Working closely with the council officer, we carried out a detailed site survey, provided a full Risk Assessment and Method Statement, and recommended a tough anti-graffiti laminate, making it possible to clean off any vandalism in just 20 minutes, with zero damage to the artwork or structure.

In February 2026, we completed a second phase of replacement hoardings installation at the same development, liaising both with council officers and external electrical contractors to sort out some unexpected issues with power cables that ran under the demolition site. Apart from a short delay around this issue, the installation went smoothly and to plan.

We were also very pleased to learn that there has been no graffiti or vandalism on our previous hoardings installation and we were delighted to receive very positive feedback from Crawley Borough Council on our latest project.

Melton Building Society

Melton Building Society (established in 1875) commissioned a large vinyl timeline mural showcasing its milestones.

We conducted a site survey, taking precise measurements to accommodate indents and pillars along the wall. Artwork was resized and printed on vinyl strips, carefully aligned for a seamless final installation

Basildon Council Pathways

In partnership with PSL Print Management, Basildon Council commissioned a series of vinyl wall coverings for a public access area in one of its offices.

As always, we carried out a site survey and provided full Risk Assessment and Method Statements before installation began.

Barnet Council

Working hand in glove with our design agency partners, who created the artwork and messaging, we were commissioned to print and install banners in 22 of the borough’s public parks.

As part of Barnet’s successful 2023 campaign to encourage wider use of its tennis facilities year-round —and to launch a new flexible season ticket offering online court-booking options, including free access for first-time players – the banners needed to be colourful and eye-catching with a strong call to action to encourage people to visit its website.

Barnet’s officer also emphasised the importance of the banners being very securely attached and fully weatherproof, able to withstand wind, rain, and sunshine without detaching, tearing or the colours fading.
